About Me

"You don't take a photograph. You ask quietly to borrow it." - Unknown

I am inspired by my family, my friends, travel, sunshine, people, architecture, shapes and colours. I spend my time seeing in a frame. Thinking about composition, details and spaces.

I have immersed myself in worlds of Portraiture, Fashion, Reportage and Journalism. Assisted and worked for photographers.  Most recently I have collated a large photographic 35mm negative archive for a prominent fashion journalist. Always trying to be amidst images one way or other, just not taking them enough!

In December 2018 I went to Kolkata, which  truly is the city of joy. I attended a workshop with Rohit Vohra and Emily Garthwaite. Adrenaline, jet lag and sensory overload from India's colours, smells, noises and tastes all carried me along. Some pictures seen here are from that trip and are the starting point to where I will go next.

In March 2019 I returned to India, to Rohit and his brother Vineet's workshops, for the festival of Holi and again in 2020.

Any feedback or questions I will be very grateful to start a conversation with you. Thanks for taking your time to view here.
